El corazón late también en el cerebro
Un nuevo estudio de investigadores argentinos, que auscultó en detalle cómo el cerebro monitorea en forma continua los estados internos del organismo, vuelve a respaldar una idea que desde hace mucho se intuye y que avalan cada vez más las evidencias científicas: la dualidad mente/cuerpo no existe. Es más: el trabajo, que se publica en Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B, la revista científica más antigua de la humanidad, en la que se dieron a conocer trabajos de Newton y Darwin, entre muchos otros, sugiere que hay una via regia, una autopista de doble mano, entre el cerebro y el corazón.

The heart also beats in the brain
A new study by Argentine researchers, which examined in detail how the brain continuously monitors the internal states of the organism, once again supports an idea that has long been intuited and is increasingly supported by scientific evidence: the mind/body duality does not exist. Furthermore, this paper, published in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B —the oldest scientific journal of mankind, in which the works of Newton and Darwin, among many others, were published— suggests that there is a via regia, a two-way highway, between the brain and the heart.
