Usach promotes innovative tool for early detection of neurodegenerative diseases using artificial intelligence
Dr. Adolfo García, an academic in the Department of Linguistics and Literature at the University of Santiago, Chile (Usach), is leading a Fondecyt Regular project that seeks to develop digital speech and language markers for the early detection of neurodegenerative diseases. The initiative combines linguistics, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence to generate diagnostic tools that are accessible and applicable in medical practice. The project is supported by the Directorate of Scientific and Technological Research (Dicyt-Usach).
