Direct evidence of the role of cardiac signals in the processing of emotions

A team led by Argentine scientists performed electroencephalograms and measurements of the beats of 10 participants who watched videos with positive, neutral and negative emotional content. The work lays the foundation for better understanding psychiatric disorders related to anxiety or depression.
